Petr Cech will come back to Chelsea this mid year as new sporting director

Cech declared in January he was hanging up his gloves this mid year however had kept his choices open for a future job in the game. His last game will be in the Europa League last in eight days' time when Arsenal face Chelsea in Baku.

It will be the swansong for a sparkling vocation before he rejoins Chelsea as an individual from their private alcove staff, as per Sky Sports. Chelsea have not had a donning chief since Michael Emenalo left in 2017. It isn't yet clear what obligations Cech will have in the job.
