BT Sport cameras demonstrated the PSG players gathered together celebrating the goal by the touchline as Di Maria stared in the direction of the home fans.
He could then be seen yelling at them, and appeared to say "f*** off" as well as "p***" - the Spanish word for "b****".
Many fans took to social media to call attention to that they had seen the words originating from the mouth of the PSG man.
The game continued however minutes later Di Maria had a jug - which came in the direction of the home supporters - tossed at him.
This wasn't the main occurrence from the match the Argentine was engaged with on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old forward was also tossed into the stand by Man United's Ashley Young after a crash towards the finish of the main half.
The pair were chasing a free ball down the touchline when Young gave Di Maria a shoulder charge which sent him taking off the side of the pitch and into the metal barrier surrounding the pitch.
His team-mates leaped to his safeguard by facing Young, while Di Maria was eventually able to come back to the field after getting treatment to his left side arm, specifically around his elbow.
He had a powerful landing on the solid edge to the Old Trafford pitch, yet Young, already on a booking, was not rebuffed further by the arbitrator.
