Kante rejects immense offer from PSG, lean towards Real Madrid or Barcelona
Le10 Sport claims that N'Golo Kanté has rejected a gigantic offer from PSG, and would incline toward Madrid or Barcelona were he to leave Chelsea.
Reports coming out of France claim that N'Golo Kanté has rejected a major money offer from PSG.
According to outlet Le10 Sport, while the French midfielder isn't currently considering an exit from Chelsea, he would be more for a move to Real Madrid, Barcelona or even Bayern Munich before the Parisian club.
PSG had purportedly spent weeks putting together an alluring offer to entice Kanté, considered one of the best defensive midfielders on the planet, and were astounded to learn that the player was not interested. The Ligue 1 club, nonetheless, are apparently not giving up on the operation, in spite of the fact that they know it will be hard to change the player's decision on a move to the French capital.
is a key figure in Chelsea's long-term plans and an indisputable starter for mentor Maurizio Sarri. As announced by Goal, Chelsea would only entertain offers upwards of 110 million euros for the French international.
Kanté's compensation puts must clubs out of the running
In any case, paying little respect to Chelsea's asking cost, with a compensation of £290,000 (325,000 euros), the World Cup winner would be out of the span of most clubs, who might see it as impossible to offer for a player on his pay scale.
Only major clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich would have the ability to offer for Kanté – the three clubs to which he would apparently be supportive of a move should the situation emerge.
